We offer a variety of medical equipment for loan to veterans with our DME program.
The Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Loan Program offered by Northwest Montana Veterans Stand Down and Food Pantry serves to provide low-income, at-risk individuals with medical equipment free of charge. Our loan program is designed to offer Durable Medical Equipment to those who need assistance and those who don’t want to spend money or don’t have insurance for short term care.
Our program:
Provides the resources necessary for promoting independence and confidence. Improves quality of life while saving hundreds, sometimes thousands of dollars in out-of-pocket expenses. Grants 4 to 8-month medical equipment loans free of charge. It also allows individuals to purchase the equipment at a discounted price to suit long-term needs. Individuals and healthcare professionals in the area can browse and borrow medical equipment.
How it works:
Generous Montanans have donated all medical equipment to our program. Donated equipment is processed, labeled, added to the database, and stored upstairs by staff and volunteers. The generosity of our community has allowed us to open this program to anyone who needs assistance. All proceeds from selling equipment and donations go directly to benefitting veterans in need and the cost of continuing this program.
Medical Equipment For Sale
We also offer gently used or NEW medical supplies for sale at discounted prices as supply demands. Incontinence supplies, compression stockings, toilet risers, wheelchair cushions, power scooters, wheeled walkers, and more.
All proceeds from selling equipment benefit veterans in need and cover the cost of continuing this program.
