DONATIONS, VOLUNTEERING & FOOD DRIVES
Specific Needs
We need volunteers to help us with Food Distribution, Thrift Store, clothing bailer, and Donation sorters are in need of 2 or more days a week from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Shifts can vary give us a call (406) 756-7304 or fill out an application and send it to us with the days that you want to serve.

Volunteering
Have a professional skill or service you’d like to donate? The individual, group, short term, long term, 2 or 20 hours- volunteers are needed, welcomed, and appreciated! We always have work available in the warehouse, pantry and thrift store as well as special event duties for the Armed Forces Day Dinner and Kalispell Stand Down in May and the Libby Stand Down the first weekend of October. Tinkerers, building & grounds maintenance, cleaners, sorters, stockers, antique & collectible appraisers, and electronic testers/fixers are always in high demand. Employer Matching Gifts
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs that will match charitable contributions made by their employees. Some companies may also match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses. Check with your company’s human resource department to find out if you have a matching gift program and to request a matching gift form. Fill out the employee portion and mail to the address above along with your gift. We will do the rest!
Employer Payroll Donor Choice Option
If your company participates in a United Way campaign, you can write in North West Montana Veterans Stand Down on your pledge card. Our SECGC (State Employee Charitable Giving Campaign) Number is # 3485. Federal, Military, and Postal Service employees can donate to our organization by designating their payroll deduction gift to the North West Montana Veterans Stand Down. Please include our IRS identification number 74-3030535 and use the address listed above. We also receive Employee donations through Benevity Community Impact Fund, First Giving, and Trust to name a few. Check with your Human Resources Manager about payroll donations. Thank You for thinking of us with your employee contributions.
Hold Your Own Food Drive
We welcome Food and Beverage Donations! We try hard to provide our Veterans and their families with nutritional monthly and holiday food boxes. You can help by donating coffee, canned and boxed goods, juice, frozen meats, grains, cereal, produce, and peanut butter. If you feel really ambitious, hold your own Food Drive and challenge the community to share their food! These donations not only benefit our Food Pantry but they can also benefit others in the community.
