Introduction
Allen W. Erickson founded Northwest Montana Veterans’ Stand Down in 2000. “Stand down” is a military term used to define a period when combat troops were allowed to ‘STAND DOWN’ from the rigors of constant alert status and the hardships of battle. We believe the term is an important and fitting description that defines our homeless, at-risk, and low-income programs for veterans.
Our Mission
North West Montana Veteran’s Stand Down & Food Pantry is dedicated to providing a “helping hand up” to homeless, low income, and at-risk veterans, their families, and dependent children.
