NW Montana Veterans Stand Down 2018 – Honoring All Veterans
Where: Asa Wood Grade School, 700 Idaho St., Libby, MT
Dates & Times: Saturday, October 6 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. (Opening ceremonies 9 a.m. sharp)
Sunday, October 7 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. or while supplies last
Admission: Free veterans and families: Bring your DD214 or Other Military ID

The North West Montana Veterans Stand Down & Food Pantry will hold its 19th Annual Libby Stand Down on Saturday, October 6, 2018, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. & Sunday, October 7, 2018, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. (or while supplies last) at the Asa Woods Grade School, 700 Idaho Street, Libby Montana. This event provides veterans an opportunity to obtain free services and to engage with a wide-range of veteran and community resources.
Available for free will be:
•Haircuts •Food Boxes •A Hot Meal
•Surplus Military Clothing •Access to Staffed Medical Bus •Flu Shots

Organizations that provide the following services/resources will be available:
•Benefits •Transportation •Energy
•ID Cards •Housing •Services/Referrals
•Banking •Counseling •Legal
•Aging •Suicide Prevention •Insurance

Also on-site will be U.S. Senator representatives, a Service Officer for the VA Clinic, a Physical Health Provider, Employment Counseling, Veterans Service Organizations, and the Flathead Spay and Neuter Clinic.

Veterans are asked to bring their DD214 Discharge VA card or Military ID. A civilian clothing give away – open to the public- will be located in the parking lot only.
