Giving Opportunities
Thank you for considering making a gift to the NorthWest Montana Veterans Stand Down! There are many ways that you can support our efforts to give a “helping hand up” to our veterans and their families. Please review the various options below.
Check or Credit Card
Gifts to the North West Montana Veterans Stand Down using a check or credit card (we accept Visa or MasterCard). Using your credit card, you can donate online through our secure server. Please click here for our donation form, which can be used for credit card and check donations.
Employer Matching Gifts
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs that will match charitable contributions made by their employees. Check with you company’s human resource department to find out if you have a matching gift program. Some companies may match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.
If you would like to make a matching gift, please request a matching gift form from your employer, fill out the employee portion and use the address listed above to mail the form along with your gift. We will do the rest!
United Way Donor Choice Options
If your company participates in a United Way campaign, you can write-in North West Montana Veterans Stand Down on your pledge card. Federal, Military, and Postal Service employees can donate to the North West Montana Veterans Stand Down just designate your payroll deduction gift to the North West Montana Veterans Stand Down Please include our IRS identification number 74-3030535 and address listed above.
Volunteering Time or Treasures
If you cannot give money, then you are more than welcome to donate your time by volunteering. We have a food pantry and a clothing outlet or you can help at one of our functions such as our Stand Down, Attic Sale, Parking Lot Sale or hold a food drive in your area.
We also welcome donations in the forms of material goods. Therefore, if you have any clothing, furniture or other items you no longer have use for, we would be more than happy to take them off your hands.
Hold Your Own Food Drive or Donate Food
We welcome any Food and Beverage Donations! We try hard to provide our Veterans and their families with a nutritional monthly food box. Help us continue this by donating can goods, box goods, juice, frozen meats, grains, cereal, produce, and peanut butter.
If you feel really ambitious, hold your own Food Drive and challenge the community to share their food! These donations not only benefit our Food Pantry but they can also benefit others in the community!
